Another Sultan of the Seldjuk Empire, Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev, ordered this school to be built in 1202-1206. It is the oldest school of medicine and its hospital of the Seldjuk period in Anatolia.

This small mosque is thought to have been constructed by the famous architect Sinan in 1584. Its dome is covered with lead on the outside and therefore the name. Though it’s small, it’s one of the most famous monuments of Kayseri.
This complex which is composed of a mosque, a school, a bath, and a mausoleum is one of the first and most beautiful group of buildings in Anatolia. It was erected by the Seldjuk Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad’s mother Mahperi Hatun in 1238.
